Coffee.
You get half an espresso cup, about 20ml or so. It’s hardly worth drinking it
Cappucini are no better than espressi, being cold.
On the other hand it’s cheap, at €1 or less.

Things the Italians actually do well: Coffee.
Things Italians have been doing the longest in Europe: Coffee
Things Italians named: Cafe, for the first coffee house in Europe in Venice.

1: italians do some of the best coffee on earth.
2: as well as the best pasta
3: however, they suck at pizza....

That 20ml is gold though. Italians do coffee great...just not in great quantities. If you want great quantities of coffee come to the US, where you can get buckets of crap coffee for 50 cents at a gas station.

Things Italians do well:
1.) Food
2.) Wine
3.) Coffee
Things Italians do not do well:
1.) GDP
2.) Beer
3.) Remain calm

I second that. America definitely improved the pizza. Except for Sicilian pizza, I've never found a place that makes a proper one.

Just because they have done it the longest doesn’t meant their way of doing it is better than others, or even good by today’s standards. For their way of enjoying it in a more social atmosphere, while drinking it slowly and not doing shit else, it is excellent. Given an American’s frame of reference as a tool to be used to get shit done, and to get you pissing all that excellence out post haste, they certainly do a shitty job of it.

Order a Latte, or maybe Cafe Americano or Cafe con Leche (spain).
Shot of espresso, followed by a bunch of hot milk. All the flavor with a lot less acidity and a full mug of goodness.
Yeah, I drink my bourbon with water and my coffee with milk. Come at me, bros!

Yeah and Yuropeen food sucks because the portions are too small for fat Americans. Leave it to an American to use something not for it’s intended purpose and then bitch about it when the application is wrong in the first place.

The 20ml is made using about 7gr of coffee, which is the same nominal dose as for a mug of normal coffee.

Much easier to gulp down 20mL of espresso and get shit done than 16oz of scalding coffee. And the 20mL is heavenly, vs the average American burnt crap...

lol, this is one of the best “wat”’s I have seen.

If it’s a matter of being small quantities, but not expensive, then just order more. Pretty easy fix there.

oh real mature, now you resort to fat shaming.

I live in a world where I pretend that good coffee doesn’t exist, and this shitty burnt free coffee at work is pretty good as far as coffee goes. Don’t ruin my fantasy, it’s hard enough to ignore my grumbling stomach.

I prefer Cuban coffee. Also, Italians tend to blend beans which makes for an often uneven taste across the palate.

If you’re after volume, order a Lungo, a Cafe Crema, or an Americano. That last one is an espresso with hot water, i.e. a cup of coffee.
